About

Nice to meet you

I'm Kimberlee Graves, Kim to almost everyone. Here's how I got here and how I work.

The path here

Kimberlee Graves

I'm a Vancouver, Canada native. I came to Washington at 19 for the University of Washington, and after graduating I started at Seafirst Bank, in customer service, financial management and corporate compliance.

In 1995 I moved into what I still consider my most rewarding role: a full time mother to four children. It is where I learned most of what I know about people, and about how you nurture growth in someone else.

As my children got older I went back to school. Culinary school, then a bone broth business focused on nutritional healing and overall wellbeing, then teaching as a certified yoga instructor. Real estate came after all of it, full time, with Windermere.

With a lifelong passion for caring for others and creating positive experiences, I've found my calling in real estate.

How I work

Kimberlee Graves

Grounded is the word I like to use for it. A move is a big decision, and it should be made with the reasoning out on the table rather than in a hurry.

I like being a source of knowledge. I love learning things, so I like to pass that on, which in practice means you hear the why behind every recommendation, and you get the time to make the call yourself.

And I like the preparation. Getting a property ready is honestly my favorite part of taking a listing: the order things have to happen in, the trades, the details nobody sees in the finished photographs.

Let’s talk

No pitch and no timetable. Most people want to talk something through long before they are ready to do anything about it, and that is the right way round.
